The people of the Arctic have run out of time to debate the whys and wherefores of global warming. For them the time is now. Their world as they know it is changing at an alarming rate and they have one simple choice: adapt or perish.

This one hour documentary will be directed by Circum Polar Archeologist and Filmmaker Dr. Latonia Hartery who will gather intimate stories and the personal perspectives of those individuals living on the frontline of the battle to adapt to our warming planet.

LIVING ON ICE will travel the Arctic from Canada to Russia to Greenland to tell these unique and personal stories and show the realities of life at the forefront of humankind's ongoing battle with our changing global environment. These individual stories will, in turn, serve as a parable for all citizens of the planet - those who adapt will be those who survive.
