CHASING COOK will immerse its audience in two voyages, separated by two-and-a-half centuries of history and technology. One, led by James Cook, was driven by a sober ambition to create the most accurate nautical charts ever made. The other, led by award winning writer and sailor Adam Killick, will attempt to understand the nascent genius of the greatest navigator in modern history.

CHASING COOK will shed light on a little understood period in Canadian history and the unheralded early career of a legendary historical figure at the height of his skill and passion, but whose contributions to Atlantic Canadian history—and modern marine cartography—remain largely unrecognized.
